I see one forecast online has The Core edging out Head of State outright... But in the "hollywood stock exchange" Head of State is trading at a much higher price, whatever that means, lol. Neither of these films looks very good, judging from the previews and early reviews. My inclination is to go with "The Core," because it will draw in the people that are suckers for special-effects driven action movies, while I believe Chris Rock's last two movies bombed(?), as they sucked the big one, and this one doesn't look much better, although it's got Bernie Mack in it which might bump up it's value....

I know that Head of State Under 14.0 Million -150 can be had at WSEX. Really looks like a bad movie, and a sound play on the Under.

yeah, it looks really crappy, so I ended up taking The Core +.5 mil, I guess I should check and see how it did last night..... **** I'm going to lose.

You'll probably know alot better after Saturday's numbers are released. The Core is about 5 or 6 hundred thousand behind after Friday's Numbers, which are subject to change still. Right now, it does look like you will win that bet.

The Core is also benefitting in this matchup by being in about 3,017 theaters to Head of State's 2,151 theaters.

It was a good bet, you were wise to take it.

I see your bet won, & the Weekend total came in at exactly $14.0 Million. I didn't bet on it, but I guess it was a push on the weekend gross for Head of State. Still looks a like a bad movie.

Yeah... some "experts" predicted it would make 16-17 million, but that was obviously not going to happen. Olympic uses this site's numbers to settle their bets:
